EAMC established the first academician workstation for plant fiber molding in China

Zhejiang Eurasia United Equipment Group Co., Ltd. (abbreviation EAMC) solemnly held a signing ceremony for the appointment of chief scientist and the establishment of an academician workstation in Hangzhou. Mr. Kefu Chen, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was appointed as the chief scientist of EAMC, and a framework cooperation agreement for the establishment of an academician workstation was signed on February 23, 2023.





Academician Chen Kefu led a team to visit the plant fiber molding research building of EAMC on the morning of Feb 2023, and went to the EAMC’s production base to inspect the development and manufacturing of complete sets of equipment, fully affirming EAMC’s R & D and production. The advanced technology of fully automatic pulp molding equipment integrating "forming, shaping, and trimming" expresses appreciation for the enterprise spirit of EAMC for excellence, exploration, and innovation and development.





Academician Chen Kefu is a famous Chinese pulp and paper engineering expert, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, professor and doctoral supervisor of South China University of Technology, Chief scientist and director of the National Science and Technology Innovation Platform for Plant Resource Chemistry and Chemical Industry, and first prize winner of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.



Academician Chen Kefu has cooperated with EAMC as early as 2007, and selected EAMC’s equipment to establish a plant fiber molding laboratory in South China University of Technology. EAMC will work with Academician Chen Kefu again to establish the first academician workstation in the national pulp molding industry and carry out all-round cooperation this time.



In the next step, Academician Chen Kefu will establish a joint laboratory with EAMC to combine production, education and research, and strive to promote the development of the pulp molding industry and scientific and technological innovation.
